Steven A. Novy, AIA
Steve, a Denver, Colorado native, cultivated his education in Lyon, France during high school before pursuing studies at the University of Colorado. It was there that he earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental design, focusing on historic preservation. Following his academic journey, Steve and his wife Julia lived and worked in Japan. During this time, he completed a yearlong project with Nihon Sekkei (Japan Architecture), envisioning expansive water recreation resorts.
At the helm of Green Line Architects, Steve is recognized for his unwavering commitment to progressive building design. With an adept touch, he orchestrates innovative solutions for intricate design challenges, continually pushing the boundaries of creative possibility.

Julia Novy
Hailing from the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, Julia Novy obtained her bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of California at Berkeley in 1987. Collaborating with her partner Steve, she embarked on the creation of two personal residences within the picturesque Roaring Fork Valley – one nestled in Carbondale and the other in Glenwood Springs.
Beyond her architectural pursuits, Julia finds joy in the exhilarating realms of swimming and skiing.
